OK....I have never really worried about this, but I have my dog in a pen, 10 x 10 x 6 in the daytime. I have a couple of questions:

Is there something that I can put out there that I can be for sure that won't hurt her and be safe? I mean a toy...she needs something!!!

I live in the country. Normally, snakes won't come around. Has anyone had that problem? My puppy hasn't had that problem yet...we put dog shavings in the dog house. She is only out in the day. Should I worry? Is there something that creates a boundary for snakes? We have two ponds very close.
