Ask her how her kids will feel about the 'puppy experience' when the see mom eating one of the pups. Scarred for life is more like it.
I actually brought up that very scenario. I also talked about Boston's experience caring for the pup with a cleft palate that hung on for a few days before dying, the possibility of mama rejecting the pups, the possibility of mama dying... pretty much every bad scenario possible. She just won't listen.

I think it's a case of having paid too much for some purebred dogs, and now needing to justify that by having them be something other than expensive pets. It's stupid, but like I said, she's immune to logic, or scare tactics for that matter.
