When looking for a rescue try looking for one that is a foster based rescue. Sasha came from a foster based rescue. They did not have an actual shelter all their dogs were in foster homes. If they didn't have a foster available they won't take a dog but if they have a foster home available that is suitable for the dog they will take it. I think a dog going into and coming out of a foster based rescue you also get a better idea of personality and such. The dog is worked with and the dog is more at ease in the situation. Where in a shelter they are pinned up sometimes with other dogs and are full of energy and nervous. I mean a shelter is a stressful situation.

Try looking for a rescue like sasha came from. Good luck
