You may have to take your dog out on a leash. Let them do there business and bring them back inside. Take them for onleash walks for exercise, rather than letting them run the yard.

That's the route I would go. Or invest in a treadmill for another form of enrichement outside of leash walks. Sucks to feel like a prisoner in your own freakin' home though and not be able to enjoy your own yard.
