About those military foster programs, I actually looked into them when I went to Iraq a few years ago and had no one to watch the dog I had at the time. None of them will accept any bully breeds, or even mastiff breeds, and some are even more restrictive than that. That was in 2007, though, so things may have changed, but I doubt it. My dog ended up just staying with the family of another soldier I deployed with.
i doubt it, the marine corp has banned pitbulls or anything that resembles a pitbull and civillians tend to not want to piss off the source of there lively hood. im so glad my husband got out last month, there a joke now.
