That's one of my favorites. The kids all got sick the same week with some 24 hr tummy bug. Rita stayed glued to whoever was sick on that day until they felt better. Shana, my middle kid in the pic, swore she was too sick to sleep and felt too crappy. Next thing I know she is sleeping, Rita is playing Teddy Bear and also unconscious with her face all mooshed against the couch.

We all totally believe Rita to be some kind of living tranquilizer. Any time she cuddles with you, regardless of time of day or how amped you are, you start to feel sleepy and next thing you know its an hour or more later.
