TRUST your dog!! the first time my hubby came over to my house (when we FIRST started dating) I had my dog on the front porch, John thought nothing of it and came inside and spent time with me and met my family. The dog, Chance, was the best judge of character I have EVER seen, he let john pet him and come into the house AND leave the house (he had a way of letting you in but NOT out LOL). Fast forward 5 years...John and I were talking about Chance, who had just passed away at 11 years old, and i asked him if he remembered that first visit to my house, he did, I then asked did he realize why I had Chance at the door?....this is the funny part, John was floored when i told him this LOL....If Chance had accepted him, allowed him into the house or had refused to let him leave, John would never have become my husband, i would NOT have dated him if there had been any issues that first day....John's face was priceless when he was told this....his come back...I KNEW he was special to me, but dang! I still miss my old boy but I a thankful for the hubby he approved LOL
