So, I didn't want to say anything till I knew what was up. When the vet came to do a check-up and heartworms test on everyone, she noticed that one of Notch's testicles were much bigger than the other (which it had not been in the past). She told me that I need to get it checked out or just get him neutered and send it off to make sure it wasn't cancer. So, Stan and I talked it over, and decided that it was best to just get him neutered and find out what was going on. We brought him in July 5th, and he was neutered. On my way to PA, July 9th, they called me and told me that they got the results back, and he was cancer free (thank God). They just said that he had more fluid built up in the one for some reason. So, then Stan calls me about four days later saying that Notch was swollen and hot down there, so, he brought him off to the Vet to check on him. They kept him for the day and the swelling went down. So, they gave Stan an antibiotic for Notch, and now the swelling and all is down, and Notch is fine. He looks kind of strange with just a "saggy" sack now. lol. However, Notch is his same old self. No different at all, though, he hasn't tried to hump Tess or Locus since he's been neutered, so, that has been one very big positive. lol. Just wanted to let you all know what was up. Notch just after he got home, he was still a little 'drugged up" on July 5th. Notch wearing his cone. lol. He hated this thing. For all his efforts, I put on his new collar. lol.
