My husbands cousin just got a new Dachshund Puppy. They lost their Dachshund in April. He had severed Degenerative Disk Disease and it paralyzed him in 2 of his 4 legs. He was 7 years old and had to be put down. And now they got this sweet little Dachshund puppy who has well you know the doberman looking markings. I love those markings on a dog. But I want a puppy now. I don't want a dachshund, not a fan of the breed. Whenever I see a cute little puppy like this I get a bit of puppy fever and I totally start wanting a puppy and its bad now that Trouble is gone. My husband is totally against another puppy again, so that should be reason enough and Sasha is loving being the only dog, so that should be reason enough. I have a 6 month old so that should be reason enough. But that nagging in my brain is there and that formulating a plan is there. I know I won't get a puppy so I don't know why I do this to myself. The agreement my husband and I made with each other is No new puppies until we have a yard and our daughter is old enough to enjoy the puppy as well.

But please for my sanity, help convince me that I don't want another puppy.
