Not surprising to me at all. I got to thinking about this when my daughter was on vacation with her grandmother out of state and got bitten by a Pomeranian. She had her lip torn, but no one thought it worth a trip to the ER, a call to AC or even a call to me! I found out when I saw the healed wound when she came home. This was about 6-8 years ago and she still has the scar. After the incident, I got to wondering how often it happens with the smaller dogs.
