Not much point having a guard dog if you have to chain him.

They are good dogs but I think they are made out to be better than they actually are. In general they are ok as guard dogs but their appearance is usually what does most. There are some exceptional dogs but a lot of the stuff now is bred for show and the ones over there that are working dogs are a lot bigger than the ones we have here.
