Excellent post!! Thanks for posting it, and reminding us that what may be a great holiday for us, can be a recipe for disaster for our dogs. Mine hate gun shots and fireworks, so mine will all be inside for the weekend. The older I get, the less I like the fireworks... I'm in the country on 25 acres, surrounded by woods.... which means, I'm surrounded by the perfect fire starter if someone sets off fireworks and they malfunction or don't go out before hitting the woods. Where I am, by the time the fire department got there, all that would be left would be the concrete slab.
