To be honest, NONE. Here are my reasons:

1) paper hanging is just too easy and they'll register a mutt with hung papers if you have the registration fee. Just look at the many bullies and other mixed dogs in the ADBA alone.

2) All registries are about conformation. However, our dogs are not meant to be conformation dogs, but working dogs. Apbts are sometimes born with flaws, since this breed was designed for gameness and if he could work, he was bred. If your dog has a kinked tail, longer tail, thicker tail, shorter tail, etc. If he has prick ears, if he has a longer coat, etc. Pretty much basically anything that doesn't match the standard, but the dog itself could be deadgame, human friendly, and prey drive through the roof etc., he is still going to receive a minor or a major fault, or possibly even a disqualification.

3) By breeding for looks alone, you ruin the dog's working ability and you are left with nothing but a shell.

For people that prefer dogs that can work, a title in a working dog show (iron dog, spartan dog, etc.) or a dog that can catch means much more to me than a Ch. or gr. ch. title in any conformaton show.

As for pedigree wise, I prefer the good old days of dogmen just writing down their pedigrees rather than using these registries. Once a dog is registered and he wins something, everyone is going to search for the dog, and of course they will find out how he is bred etc. if the papers haven't been hung. Then you're gonna have people attempting to recreate him and he himself will be a sought after stud. This in turn leads to dogs with just pretty pedigrees, lacking the heart of a true bulldog. Look at the dogs off machobuck now, they are nothing but pretty papers.
