Mine didn't take to the pool last year...but since then Bully has gotten a little more brave with water so I think when I get to Florida I'll pull it out.

Other than that they are lazy A/C pits. Every once in a while when it's nice and not really hot they will lay out on the porch, but I'm careful about making sure they aren't out there to long (they can always bark to come in) since we have no shade in our backyard.
