There is no reason for this statement. The OP is asking for help, not asking to be criticized.

Yes, the optimal time for a pup to be weaned is at least 8 weeks. There are pups that have done quite well when taken away from their mum at 5 weeks and that is treading on dangerous ground.

Socialization is very important. Introduce your pup to as many people as possible and remember not to allow your pup in public places until it is fully vaccinated.
