Every time I go through a drive through for a coffee, the girls at Tom Horton's (canada's dunkin donuts) go nuts for my dog. They will say how beautiful she is and how well behaved etc etc.

Then comes the questions - either "is that a boxer?" or "what kind of dog is it?"

Now I'm not someone who will lie about my dog's breed, but I am getting there.

I will tell them that it is a pit bull and then they say "oh".

Conversation is over in a flash.

They saw what a great dog she is but one word will turn them away completely.

I can imagine this is the general plight of all bully owners.

Anyhow that's my rant.

One person (a dog supply shop owner) told me to tell them it is a staffie or just a terrier (something the general public will just say ok cool).

Do you guys do this? I'd feel wrong denying my dog. =p
