Great post!
I agree with your statement to the fullest extent.

There are breeds I don't particularily like/wish to own, but I still respect others' rights to like/own them.

Dobermans, for example, often have HA because they were bred to be guards, it's part of their temprament.

So, as a personal choice I have decided that I would not like to own one and the breed does not suit my particular interests/needs.

I don't know if that makes sense.
