I've heard it explained that the pure, game-bred APBT will not show be blue because that is a trait from Am Staffs (one of the breeds that came from mixing APBTs with other breeds to create a show dog of sorts). Looking back in APBT history, you really won't see dogs that vary from the buckskin, black, "moo moo" (black and white), or brindle color, but that doesn't mean that blue dogs didnt exist. I've never seen a picture of an old-time dog that was blue, but of course many of the pictures are in b&w so maybe a blue dog would simply show up black?
Color isn't important to me at all, MJ could be purple for all I care
