So you can't eat a dog in china but its ok to murder prisoners for their organs, or throw people in jail for questioning the gov.

Yea I dont think its about animal rights I am guessing it is something else. It is the same place that I have heard some serious horror stories from friends who lived there, and I dont mean one or two I mean all of them.

How can you be against it? China is all about stifling personal rights and freedom and doing whatever the government says. Well, this is what they are now saying.

The problem is, where are they going to get all of their meat from now? The world can't sustain sufficient animals for everyone to eat meat like the western world does and as everyone becomes more wealthy, they don't want stupid rice. Paradoxically however, dogs are claimed to have a HUGE carbon footprint, similar to driving a big SUV so maybe the environmental effects of farming pork will be less than eating dogs.

Have you ever seen a pig farm, they are a HUGEEEEEEEEEEEE environmental issue! I grew up around one and they had to shut down because the shit from the farm broke through the pool (literally a lake) they had lined with plastic and made it into the water supply. After that I did my research and realized animal farming as a whole is RIDICULOUS in the scope of environmental damage.
