Along 2 sides of our yard we have a 6' privacy fence, on the back side is a 4' chain link.
All has been fine for the year we've been here as the house behind us has been empty. Well....it sold.
We met the new neighbors today and while they seem nice and don't have a problem with putbulls, they do have a dog ("Boxer/bloodhound that doesn't know it's a dog").

So, just to be on the safe side, we're going to put a hot wire up about 6' from the chain link.
