Here's my reply from the other thread, I wasn't sure which thread to post it so I'm covering both!
You will also need to check with each state's law on service animals. They differ, for example in OR, no service animal and it's handler can be denied access to any building, however, the term handler is a gray area. Is handler someone who cannot fuction without the dog(i.e. seizure alert dog, guide dog) or someone who would function less smoothly without the dog(i.e. a dog who helps your mood). So check with the state laws.
