Well it's not like it was an isolated spot or I was threatening. You could see thru the brush to the nearest trail ( which she could of used) and just a few yards away the brush ended and there is an area with benches and people within shouting distance. She had 2 shorthair pointers(?) with her that paid no attention to us either. She was just rude. Even a nod of the head would have been enough for me.
