I do understand what what your saying about "Pit Bull" mixes however, IMO, dog bites are NOT a problem compared to the number of domestic animals living amongst more than 300 million people. The problem I see is the media's over-hype for starters and also the irresponsible dog owners and also the lack of enforcement/punishment for those irresponsible dog owners. However, overall in Reality, the dog bites isn't an epidemic. I have a better chance being struck by lightning (although living in the lightning capital of the world doesn't help me none) I also have a much greater chance of winning the lottery than being bit by a dog. Also, I'm quite sure a lot of these over-hyped stories we hear about aren't telling the whole story on whether a dog was provoked or unprovoked and I'm also convinced humans lie and dogs can't speak so of course the humans will blame dogs. So, Ultimately, IMO, I do NOT see a serious problem of dog bites. The problem lies with the media and humans and dogs, in general, are simply being the scape goat. It's unfortunate that the general population and our legislatures continue to buy into this media bias and distortions as truth as many times as the media has been proven wrong. Ignorant Americans. I Support Spaying/Neutering your Pets! I've been trying to get my bro to neuter his one dog, he's yet to do it. I tell everybody I know who has a pet to spay/neuter. I'm proud to say that I will NOT be helping in continuing this over population problem. All mine are spayed and neutered.
