i had a scary encounter with a loose gsd, it was while i was walking with my lil sis and my tan male. the dog stepped in front of us and wouldn't let us go on our way. when i told it to git it growled at me. i picked up my young sister and set her on the other side of chain link fence that i was next to. i shouldh've been carrying something with me since i had a five year old with me too thank god i was standing next to a fence when this happened. i ended up yelling at the dog and it ran off. couldh've provoked the dog by doin that but i was in protect mode and getting ready nut out on this dog.
