I woulda thought she was pure bred by looking at her. Ever see Fastlane-bred game dogs? There is A LOT of variety there, including thick tails, longer fur, etc... as well as the normal fur and tail. When these dogs were being created across the pond 200 yrs. ago, some of the longer, feathery-furred terriers were also probrably thrown into the mix with the bulldogs at the time in some regions, not just exclusively Manchester Terriers and the Black and Tans. The Dogmen wanted gameness and winners, not pretty dogs so I think that's why we see a longer-furred pup thrown from time to time.
