I know this isnt about a Pit, but I am getting rid of my Pug
We have went through everything including training classes, spoken to a ton of people. But the Pug is just too hyper and NEVER calms down with his whining, nothing works, a shaker can, spray bottle, newspaper, nothing at all
. I got him neutered not because I worried about him impregnating a dog because I knew that would never happen, but because my vet suggested it might calm him down a little. He is now 16 months old now, should be past the annoying puppy stage but unfortunately not and it just gets worse as he gets older. I am going to talk to a few couples I know that have Pugs, and if not seek out an owner through friends so that I can visit him as often as possible.
I just cannot do it anymore, and I feel bad. But the dog should go somewhere to people that can not get upset with him when he acts like that, and to people that will devote time to possibly training it out of him, and to be quite honest, I am very frustrated with him and my husband is the only one that spends time with him, Destiny even gets frustrated with him because he jumps in her face and such.
Am I doing the right thing here?
