Glad that you are widening your thinking... lol.

On rescue, well, I just rescued a pup from a place in Mississippi, and so far, she's awesome! Naturally, unless you have a breeder you can trust, and papers to back everything up, you never truly know what you are getting, and it's a crap shoot as to whether it will turn out to be the best dog ever, or not. It's like everyday you get in your car and start the ignition, you may have a wreck and you may not.... there's no guarentees in life, except death and taxes.

Even though I have a rescue, well, 5 rescues since I became an adult, and a total of 4 of those are still alive, they have all been some of the best dogs I've ever had..... well, maybe except for Zoe, and she's just plain ADHD,

but other than that, they've all been great dogs. It may not be for you, but don't close the door completely... maybe just push it to a little, but don't close it completely..... you never know what tomorrow may bring.
