Aloha_girl = the judge? lol Wow glad I didn't say anything bad about you! LMAO just kidding!

I hope nobody thinks I am whining or not agreeing with your decision, I mean you are the judge and you obviously know what you are doing....lol

Thanks for the ideas on the 2 inch collar! I HAD a 2" collar on him but I bought the one he was wearing and a leash to match that morning for him. I should have kept his old one!

As for him not firing off I am going to try and work on it. One problem I think was that he was inside and he was not in his element. All the barking really threw him. he has a stable temperament but that not something he is used to. lol I am hoping the next show will be outside and he will come out of his sheltered, spoiled shell.

I hope to get him his CGC this year....does anyway know if any AADR shows that are held in this area will have a CGC test? I know the one in Durham the 18th of April will have one.
Its not a requirement to fire off in the ring, some like it some dont. Just make sure that he is in control of his space and seems confident. Not bored or fearful. If he looks bored or CHILL, just walk him around your show area, a lot of us move our dogs in a figure 8 to keep or dogs from becoming bored since some of the classes are HUGE! As you both get use to being in the ring you will both be more comfortable.
