A few ideas, as I am due in a couple weeks here and my moms been preparing her 3 dogs to be comfortable around babies so when I visit her I don't have to worry about the dogs so much. She has a Chi, Rat Terrier and a very large hyper yellow lab. But how my family has always prepared dogs for children/babies as many of our friends have children. We keep the routine the same, Introduce the dog/s to new sites like a crib set up, Let them sniff used babies clothes (If you have a friend or something you can find with some unwashed clothes). Another thing that is super helpful is using the internet to find voice clips of babies crying and making noises and playing them for your dogs!!!

And once the baby is around, although it may be hard at first, your dogs need to still feel like you care about them just as much as before! Bullies are jealous breeds...Not in a mean way, but they tend to "Pout" and act up when they are feeling jealous...doing things like chewing up something they normally never would of...or going potty in the house, more of the "selective" hearing type stuff...etc...this breed is sooo very uniquely bonded to humans and tend to actually become emotionally attached to there owners...at least in my experience with MANY bullies over the years...

Good luck and congrats!
