6. That this breed does not need doggy playmates, but human attention and compasion instead. The breed thrives upon interaction and needs plenty of it as well as excecise.

7. 90% of the time the animal needs to be spayed or neutered for various reasons....

8. Proper containment.....(cables and ropes will not work) Kennels are easy to dig under and escape as well "climbing" out of. Wal-mart collars are bad news.
Heavy duty (not tow truck crap) hardware is best....
If chaining....bullsnaps should be last resort. Burried axles are best for stakes...
at least 10 ft length is common and appropriate for good excercise and room to play and run.

9. Crate training should be a must for inside APBT's, especially with multiple dogs in house.

10. If you want another APBT, find your local shelter as they have many that need a noce home before they are PTS. Population is already overwhelming, without adding more to it.

11. Because they are pretty, or cute or have a neat color, or are so sweet, or are just the right size, or because they make the best puppies, or because all of our friends and family want one IS NEVER A REASON TO BREED ANY DOG...
