Do you have any plain yogurt? Maybe try to give her a pill hidden inside some cheese or a little canned food. I have also hidden pills inside hot dog pieces, peanut butter, chicken, some tuna.... I'm pretty good at hiding pills.

The trick is, you have to have another piece waiting for them, so they basically just swallow the piece you gave them, so they can get the next piece. I make a big deal out of it with Mollie, get her all excited about the first piece...without the pill, let her eat that, then slip the pill in the next bite, give her that and have the third piece already waiting for them and show it to them as soon as they get the "baited" piece. The yogurt would be good for her and would kinda put a little liquid in her system. Keep us updated.

I had Mollie spayed at 6 months, and I think I took her in, and then picked her up the next day after work. I don't remember her whining any, but I do remember she slept a lot when she got home.
