argh....I know your frustration!! My big dog is also selectivly DA, and is always on a leash anywhere we go.....and we live next to a beautiful park that I often walk my dogs at, that has multiple BIG SIGNS stating there is a strict leash law enforced in the park.....and EVERY WEEK we get jumped by off leash dogs with their irresponsible owners flailing behind them.....

Just today we got jumped by a big german shepard that was NOT friendly as the owner said so running behind her dog calling deafly to it....

as she pulled her dog off of mine (mine was growling but trying VERY hard to stay in her sit-stay position while I scooped up my smaller dog so as not to be EATEN by the stupid shepard) I lectured her as kindly as possible on the dangers of off-leash dogs being hit by cars on the busy road nearby, and that while her dog is NOT supposed to be off the leash at the park anyhow....it especially should not be off leash without knowing a strong recall.

ergh....people!!
