Aww, your friend's tri-color is a total cutie! Lots of people tell us our dog must be mixed with rottweiler or doberman – we don't have papers (except adoption ones from the shelter

) but our Molly looks to be all APBT just like your friend's pup!

Oh, someone did call her a border collie mix one time when we went lure coursing; the announcer kept calling her "Molly, the Border Collie mix" whenever it was her turn to run – uh, lady, there's no fluffiness on my short coated dog

I did some research when we first got her and there's something called the "agouti gene" which causes this coat coloring – many breeds carry this gene, the APBT included.
