I was actually really lucky as before I got my second dog, I saw quite a few incidents happen with friends dogs being left alone together. When Marz was still a pup and crated anyway, I had some guy come up to me to check them out. He started telling me a story about his two pit bull girls who were "best friends" and one day, while left alone together in his car, he came back to two dead dogs. He was literally in tears and begged me to take his advice and not leave my two alone together and I took it to heart. I actually know of a couple of opposite sex couples that got in some pretty harsh scraps. One the lady was actually there but VERY pregnant and couldn't break it up and both dogs died. Opposite sex is no guarantee, that's for sure.
