Well, from what i have gathered, the American Bullys are targeted by a certain crowd. Most of them seem to be uneducated on health testing, temperments, none of the dogs ever seem to have titles and the owners usually dont know what you mean by the word title. Not all bully owners fit this category and i hate to classify a group of people like that, especially since i am often classified as a typical pit bull owner based on looks alone.

Alot of them actually believe that they have a pit bull, hell i used to think american bullys were pit bulls. Thats all i ever saw around my area and everyone called them pit bulls. It wasnt until i ran across a few pit bull forum that i learned the difference. I also thought it was completly safe and mornal to give them steroids, glad i tuned into the forums right when i got Trouble. When i walk my apbt now, everyone asks me why he is so small and tell me he is not a pit bull. So, they either think they really have a pit bull, or they just use the name because it sells dogs, which most bully owners seem to care very much about.

Anyway, this feels like a losing battle. Its only getting worse. All we can do is keep trying but im pretty much done trying. I get tired of explaining to people and they look at me like im stupid. So i just answer with yes and no, im short and i move on with my life. They can call them whatever they want, i know what my dog is and i know that he is an APBT.
