Well here I am on Tuesday, back at work and reflecting on the 4 days of golf I've just had.

Fri I played the Ashludie course with my brother in law. Its a par 68 course, SSS 65 and it doesn't have any par 5's. Played pretty well despite not hitting the green on any of the par 3's, only managed to par one of them and finished with a 77 (+9)
Sat I played on the Medal course with my brother in law. Its a par 71, SSS 72, went round in 89 (+18) which was disappointing.
Sun I played the Dougalston course with the_paulo and Br1an_g, the score isn't worth mentioning as its very tight and I played rubbish. Should have walked off after my tee shot on the first, hit a nice 3w over the water to the centre fairway. I then called my tee shot on the 2nd, hitting the very large tree, left side of the fairway with a rising baby fade about 150y out.
Fri I was back on the Ashludie course with a couple of friends, despite a 7 on the front 9 I was on 66 with two holes to play, finished with a 7 then a 4 for another 77.

Signs of improvement off the tee, full irons are disappointing at the moment, I'm either pulling or pushing shots, wedges are getting back to where I expect them to be and the putting is coming along nicely now that I'm getting the pace of the greens.
Must remember to relax and get rid of these new course blues, always seem to struggle on a course I've never played before. Although I did manage a respectable +12 and +15 on two I played last year, not the usual and expected +28
