I actually had this conversation with SMG during our round yesterday. Lots of really nice houses on the course, but a lot of them were really close to landing areas on par 4s and par 5s. I would never want to have a house in that location, especially with little kids. I'd never let my daughter outside if my house was in the danger zone of errant tee shots.

There is one house at St. Marlo that is both fantastic and in a great position. It's on the 7th hole (par 3) for those who have played there. (Did not take a picture, but should have.) The house sits behind the green about 30-40 yards behind the green and it uphill from the green. I'm sure that house has fantastic views of the 6th green and 7th hole, but the house is far enough removed from the course that errant shots shouldn't be an issue.
