Like Spazz said, keep an eye on that injury for sure. A few years ago during a softball game, I hit a ball that caught a guy in the shin, breaking his leg... and I'm far from being considered a power hitter.
A golf ball is far harder than a 44 core softball, so it could easily do some damage.
