Your friend has recommended him for a reason? I usually find people who are good at what they do get work from word of mouth id say go with the recommended pro.

I was planning on doing that, but he is spending a lot of time travelling Europe promoting some new putting gizmo...

So I felt it was better to have someone constant to start off with rather than seeing the guy I wanted once every couple of months
