in my own opinion starting with your hips can actually cause you to come over the top and pull. Unless you have tour pro flexibility the best thing to do is to start with a lateral bump, drop the club then turn the hips and release. I worked on this with my pro and I improved tremendously. Even golftec said this was what i needed to do to stop slicing or pulling. Not bumping your lower body forward can cause your shoulders to be open and swing out to in.

Funny, thats sort of the same thing that I was told today. "You look almost a little quick in turning the hips" Like I am turning the hips to start my down-swing.
