Do you have the 2011 Mashie or this year's Mashie, also known as the Mashie+?

In terms of technique, don't come as hard from the inside, try to feel like you're going to hit a slice to take away the hook.

It's a 2011 Mashie.
I have the Mashie + in 15.5 degree and that thing is great.
