I too really enjoy following along with each testing thread from start to finish, but I think that just doesnt work for some people. And while searching the thread for a specific tester's last review post is useful, i think that action can be more daunting for a lot of people than simply navigating through a bunch of links that are placed in a tester's first post.

I dont think people need to put any extra work into making a table of contents in their first post or anything like that. Simply take the classic Jman Reference Links interface and place that straight into their first post.
Also, like linking posts now, this wouldnt need to be required, just seems like a good idea to me.

It would also be pretty important and incredibly useful I think, to have all testers make the first posts (after JB's ofcourse) That, combined with people placing links in their first post would give people the ability to open up any testing thread and have direct access to all the tester's "main" posts right there on one page. Now, if that is all they choose to look at they will miss out on a lot of great stuff that is bounced around by the testers and forum members (Answering questions, quick thoughts...etc) but they will get sort of a 'Cliff's Notes' version of the testing thread which I think would be very useful to a lot of people.

Anyway, im just thinking out loud now. I just hate seeing people get turned off by the effort/time it can take to follow along with these (sometimes massive) testing threads. My SPi instructor was one of those people! He just couldnt hang, hahah....
Well darn, I was going to respond to JMan but you pretty much said everything I was going to say. I also see your POV Jman and understand that as well. However, some people just don't enjoy that I don't think, or just can't put in the time. My roommate and Dad both wanted to follow me as I tested the RBZ irons but both of them said it was just too overwhelming and they stopped.

Anyways just my 2 cents, I'm going to continue to go through threads either way, I just thought maybe theres a way we can make things a little easier for some. It takes me quite a while to get through all the threads here as it's such a massive wealth of information. That's not a bad thing at all, just takes some time.
