You say this as if the majority out there had it and then lost it, when I think it's the other way. I think the majority of people out there, (on golf courses and off) never had etiquette, manners, morals to begin with.

So many people live in their own world it's a shame.

And oddly, I feel this isn't a problem that has slowly developed, but has been around for a very long time.

This. It's makes me appreciate the time my dad spent with me and making sure I had proper etiquette even at a very young age. It seems so simple but there will always be stupid people and unfortunately they find their way on to the golf course. I just hate the attitude that "if they did it, im going to" in regards to not fixing ball marks or divots or picking up tee etc. Like I said before, absolute scumbags
