I have a hole like that at my league course. It's a 366 yard (on the card) par four. For some reason, I always slice my driver on this hole. Sometimes OB, but usually into the lovely fairway bunker with a high lip. Since it's short, I've started teeing off with a 5W and that has gotten my GIR on that hole up. Hitting out of the fairway with a 7, or 6 iron even, is much less nerve racking than dropping and hitting three or trying to pick a ball out of a fairway bunker.
