If it's not for money, I don't think it's a big deal. I think it shows your class to call a DQ on yourself. The other guy is making a fuss over nothing (bragging rights).

Besides, I'm sure there are other instances of illegality going on like illegal clubs being used when reporting scores for handicapping purposes.
Well, the DQ is funny, since I didnt meet my quota points, I would have gotten negative points for my team. The DQ counts as an absence, and I am awarded 0 points for the week. Kind of helps me team, really.

Personally, I think it's a little lame that he did that.
I agree, especially since he is usually the guy drooling over whatever new gear I have in the bag on the range.

If you are not playing for money, who cares? Ask JB, or SeeMoreGuy how many clubs I had in my bag at the outing when we did the shotgun at the new course. Just a hint, it was over 20!
Hah, same here. I think at one point I had 3 wedge sets, 3 drivers, 3 3Ws and 2 putters in the bag.
