I always use the alignment aid on the ball. I mark my ball and read the line. I point that line down my line. Pick up my marker. I never take a practice stroke. I just line up my putt and address my ball. I make a final check of my RST. I then start my stroke. I do everything I can to focus on hitting the ball with the middle of the putter face. I never look up until after I have hit the ball.
