This might sound silly, but I visualize a line the ball will travel on like in the Tiger Woods PGA Tour video games. I draw a line on my golf balls, so I line that up with the visualized line. If I hit the putt the correct speed, it will go in.

True story. In south Louisiana its humid and foggy most mornings. Was playing one time in a "all birdies pay" game. It was about 7:30 am. I was 20 feet from the hole putting for birdie and my friend was about 35 feet on the same line. I marked 1 to the left. He made his for birdie! When I went to mark my ball back I noticed a dew line on the green going right to the center of the hole. I replaced my ball on its original spot and it was right on the dew line LOL just like Tiger Woods on xbox. I hit my putt and it hardly left the line and went in!! Everyone on in our group was laughing about it for 3 holes. Hope thats not considered cheating lol.
