Al Arabiya News Channel are saying majority onboard were US Special Forces. Can't find any other sources to confirm this.

Well I said this here few years ago when some ex US soldiers here were making fun of the Taliban's capabilities. These guys have experience and motivation. All they know is war nothing else. Their fathers fought the soviets and are their commanders now. They are pretty serious about fighting illegal occupation.

Also I remember when I said there will come a day when the US will sit and negotiate with the Taliban. At the time Bush's administration was sayin we don't negotiate with terrorists. Well they kinda had to recently, since they cudnt out muscle the Taliban.

Finally, I love asking this question over and over. What is America's current objective in Afghanistan?

More news to follow. Seems like an RPG dropped the chinook.
