When I was playing full time this was my undoing. I had no controll over my emotions and it hurt me on the course. It was not the higs and lows of the round but the inability to let go of a bad shot. I'd make a bogie on a par five that was reachable in two and would beat myself up for the next 2 holes. I might battle back to a -1 or even but would not be satisfied.
Now I stay pretty even no matter what. I plat one shot at a time and let stuff roll off my back. Its a different game when you are competing, I understand that but over the last 10 years I have been able to manage my emotions pretty well.
