That would make much more sense if you were dealing with a rational leader, which in this case North Korea cannot be described using the word rational.
Bill Clinton said about Kim Jong Il that he is very intelligent and one of the best (and evil) leaderws ever.



You think they will all of a sudden stop the rhetoric of threats against South Korea, abandon all the efforts for WMD, and threatening everyone else protecting South Korea?
That depends on South Korea´s behavior.
- South Korean Soldiers use North Korean symbols for target practise
- They paint anti-NK watchwords in sight of Northern soldiers
- In maneuver, they cross the border and shoot in NK waters
- Northkorean websites get hacked by Southkorea
- etc



You really suspect we can talk our way out of the mess going on in the Korean Peninsula?
Yes, if you know about the NK guidelines.



At this point conflict is a matter of when, not if and there is little evidence to suggest otherwise.
No, NK is not like Libya or what ever. It has a strong army and probably nuclear weapons.
